Hi strikeros, Taking inspiration from the previous message of elmajor, I thought to put together a list with a few suggestions that might help some of the newer managers here. Here we go! 1) Aim for a small but evenly balanced stadium. 60,000 capacity is perfect up to Div4 and anything more is a waste of $$. You don't need 84,000 until Div3. 2) Wingers are the best bang for your buck players. You can get very cheap RB, LB, RM, LM, RW, LW that are over 75%. Add 2 DFMs and bingo! 3) Get the best trainers for your senior and youth teams. Keep checking for better ones and don't waste $$ to train them unless they are over 85%. 4) Start youth player farming yesterday!!! Keep scouting the youth player auction market for players with 80% + progression. Again wingers will be the cheapest and I would recommend to be your starting point. Watch out for cheaters/trolls who advertise false progression. There are many managers (especially in top leagues) who have many schools and can only keep the very best players. 5) You do not need schools yet. There is now so much supply of good progression players that building and maintaining a school in low leagues now not worth it. In the past buying good prog youngsters was more expensive, hence a few own schools was good practice. 6) If you don't already use Advanced Tactics you might as well abandon the game now. AT are must if you want to enjoy the game. 7) Don't upgrade your stadium accessories unless your division requires it. 8) Schedule friendlies for extra $$$. 9) Spend some time to study top Division teams, you will learn a lot. 10) Never forget that real life is way better than this or any computer game. Keep it fun and don't waste too much time in here, 10 minutes a day is enough to manage your team. Hope this helps a bit some of you. Greetings Edited by Ahaios 22-11-2014 22:30 |
