They do not affect training, but only morale and fitness. These two stats have influence, respectively on general average and players' performance in a match. Which means that low morale results in a temporary drop in average of the player. As in real life, a sad or angry player won't express his actual strength and capabilities. Fitness has an influence on the player's recovery of his stamina. In fact, physio doesn't help recover the player's stamina, but only his fitness...I read in an old thread that a 99 fitness player recovers something like 10 stamina points per day. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but the principle behind the matter is the one I wrote. Always do a deep research on the forum when a question pops in your mind, probably someone in the past came up with the same queestion, so the answer is alreay being written by someone. I've seen many teams let the same players start each day, so that soon the players have 99 morale/fitness but nearly 0 stamina. What's the problem with letting a player's stamina approach 0? |

What happens when you are tired? You stop running because your legs are stiff and you can't catch your breath. So when the players have 0 stamina they will stop sprinting and they won't win tackles as in real life...it would be like watching system bots players, that's what happens | 09/12/2014 19:01 |

I doubt anyone knows what algorithm lies behind the relationship between stamina and performance but if you watch a game with a team with very low stamina you can see that the players are very slow. There are managers that dispute that stamina is a factor when stamina is higher but there is also a relationship between the averages and specific attributes of players on one team versus another. A team with 60 avg players at 99 stamina will have a hard time beating a team with 90 avg players at 60 stamina. |

A team with 60 avg players at 99 stamina will have a hard time beating a team with 90 avg players at 60 stamina. I would say that it's because stamina influences the physical stats, not the technical ones. 0 stamina players will run less, but, probably, their accuracy in shooting and passing would be almost the same. Even if tired a much talented team can beat an athletic one if of a much lower level. Of course, there are examples like Roberto Baggio in the finals of World Cup 1994, when he kicked over the bar the crucial penalty against Brazil because of his 0 stamina at the end of a very hot match and because of a hamstring injury he suffered in the semifinals. Sad, sad memories ![]() |
