sorry my friend there is nothing you can do about this one, but just in case of next time, always try to re-sign your players, so as to protect them from been 'stolen' from you. 12/12/2014 10:23

You cannot do anything about it. He is gone. Now you've learnt to resing the juniors you don't absolutely want to sell.
The only thing you could do is to see if you can buy him back if his new release clause isn't too high for you, but his future salary will be 20k, so, unless you are full of money, you won't be able to do so.

Go to the player you want to buy. Under the button "Contract", click on "Hire", then make an offer as high as his release clause. This way tha manager won't be able to refuse your offer. Juniors that have re-signed, so with an R next to the years of contract, don't have this option and can't be stolen. 12/12/2014 10:30

Juniors - resign to get an (R) keeping him on low salary; for seniors pay enough salary to have high release clause - as high as you estimate the players worth.

But keep in mind that you have finances to balance so don't put a salary of 1 milion on a payer you probably don't have that is worth that much
