I train forwards in my junior team, but I was wondering what is the best strategy of training for my seniors. Should I train forwards in my senior team or can I train only 3 days forwards, when I have temp promoted players, and the other days of the week train another position? Is there an optimal strategy? 14/12/2014 08:14

if you want you Junior players to benefit from it, set forward training for Seniors

you can improve your youths from this allowing them to player alongside Seniors, giving them at least 160%motivation..

Ok, but my question was: is it better to train the same position in junior and senior team? In my case, should I train forwars both in junior and in senior team, because it is the most efficient option? or is it ok to do as I'm doing, so 3 days training for temp promoted players and in the other days I can train a different position?

Do I lose much of the potential of my seniors doing different training?

i used to train jnr fwds and snr defs and not do any temp promotes when i was in div 7 to div 4

I think this is the best option in the lower leagues as most if not all of your players will be sold before you make it to the higher leagues also it means you only need to buy fully trained players in just one position (in my example mids)

Then when you get to the higher divs and can buy better prog players you can train same position in jnrs and snrs and do your temp promotes

Just my opinion though

Well, I forged ahead with my team, starting with high % coaches And every week temp promoting juniors to speed their development. I hope I won't regret it in the future.

By the way, thank you for your advices!!

Ok. I couldn't fully understand your answer first time I read it. Now I re-read it and I finally got the real meaning of your words. I'm a little confused today, my bad. Alright, then probably I'm doing something wrong and I'll change my strategy next season. Thanks, mate.

Bulls eye there bow
I was doing snr forwards and junior defs, forwards are a must coz they are expensive.
Dont train all 3 positions, train only 2 and with money from leftovers you will get experienced maxed players for position you dont train.

In my first 2-3 seasons i was training in juniors GKs+DEFs end up with bad GKs and bad DEFs.
It was much harder than,it was pen and paper back then.
After that i used to see how good spaniards train their players and pirates reb and gunner nic help a lot.
We needed like 1 year to learn what you can learn/read now in 30min.
