on some of my players, there is this red sign pointing down and some are green pointing up. what does it mean? 19/12/2014 09:25

It means the ones with red signs have negative training meaning your training didn't affect them while the ones with green up sign are the ones your training affected 19/12/2014 11:42

The red sign means that this player is either old and will not improve even if you give him the right training, or if he is young player it means that you promoted him too late and his progression decrease 1% each additional day he was in youth.
The players with green arrows will improve with your training but the players with red arrows will lose their average and will not improve.

first, you need to search for a good coach, then visit the training table to know what training to apply to which player....you should also have a position you want to train...eg if you want to train LM/RM, you'll use their specific training...note that some trainings affect other players apart from the player that you want to train...take ball-control for example, it works for LM/RM, IM, RW/LW, etc
