Started him on auction at approved min of $25m. No bids. Started a new auction from $0 (which is always allowed - you can always auction from $0) for 48hrs. There were NO bids until maybe 12 hrs before the auction ended. JNK got him really cheap at a lucky time because I needed to make space in the squad. Now, if I had done a transfer agreement at that price? I would have been fined. But an auction from $0 gives everyone an opportunity. And with no more 24hr auctions, it gives everyone a better chance as well. The RW went for $8m. Same circumstances. He was originally on auction at $20m with no bids. Put him on at $0 with the LW. |
