It could easily have been 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, or 4-3. He had two go off the cross bar in the first half. I had a ball go off the crossbar and roll right to the goal line between the posts and his gk picked it up. Then in the 59th he had a shot off the post that rolled close to the goal line and my CDF collected and cleared - first time I haven't seen a def that close make an own goal. My goal in the 79th was a bit of luck...narrowly not offside. All in all, if he felt hard done by, I wouldn't blame him particularly given the quality difference in the squads. |

(in my opinion) & i think @vgates ain't too unhappy with the outcome of a match against a team who has the past records in their favour & looking at the game, if TerryV did thought through the pros & (cons) of the 75th minutes setup, i guess he would've chosen not to change 'cos had he left the midfield intact @5 men - FC NORI could've just recorded their 1st league loss & (a 3rd-consecutive loss to that same team). Buh instead, he brought on a Fwd, i guess thinking he would do a super sub and it went the wrong way for him. (1-1), good result for both sides @least they shared the spoil, except only scoring once from 15/17 well targeted shots  -not new tho, atleast a team scored zero outta 18 some weeks ago . And also, it's good to see that @vgates has a team that keeps making him scratch his heads . P.S: How did everyone week go? Mine went well minus thursday . PL mode activated - tomorrow is SATURDAY! |
