should player loans be given durations? Eg. Half a season or more

why cant we have duration options for player loans, why should it always be 1 year?.... We should be able to choose if we can loan out players for half a sea son or more, since this is virtual foot ball, i think it will make sense.. Because some managers dont treat their loand players well, they dont train them and they wont even play matches, this will enable us to change our loaned player's destination even in the middle of the season...
