Does experience points have to do with winning matches?

I don't think that was what he meant.

He thinks he should have won the game, but he's confused if having more experience points will give you victories against teams with lesser experience points.

Unlike what the first manager - who I think needs a forum caution due to the unnecessary inputs he has made over the past few weeks in the forum - had to say, one's experience points has absolutely nothing to do with winning matches.

However, my experience in the game - and yours - and anybody's - has quite a lot to do with the mastery of game play.

Your opponent has been around here way longer than you have been, and therefore he has a profound tactical background than you have.

Given this, he can manipulate a team of an overall average of 20 to beat your team with maybe an overall average of 40. It all boils down to your tactical know-how which you develop over the time you spend playing the game.

So, relax. Watch the match over and over, and every other match you've lost (which you should have won going by your team depth and average, not experience points) and identify your lapses.

Work on them, and you should see results.
