Why is the attendance for friendlies so low? I faced an opponent with over 70,000 supporters (I have almost 15,000 myself) and we only had an attendance of 24,000. I've been averaging over 90,000 for my league home games. Any thoughts? |

Once I was told that generally you can earn 10% of your league revenue with a friendly...I generally play away in friendlies, because my stadium is not so good, but you have a monster stadium, however 10% is ok for that kind of match. You have to adjust your tickets price, since nobody would spend much for a friendly, but you'll never earn as much as a league game. Div 1 teams earn 2.5-3m when playing friendlies against div5-6 teams. | 05/03/2015 22:58 |

Div 1 teams earn 2.5-3m when playing friendlies against div5-6 teams. That is not true. You will never get $11m playing a friendly. Here are the earnings from Anco's last friendlies: $4.1m, $4.1m, $4m - those are his last 3 home friendly matches. He earns just shy of $40m in a home match. His last home cup game was $19m to each manager. Again, the math is fairly simple - each manager will earn roughly 10% of the home sides home league game revenue. Mickon, I have no idea where you got $11m for a friendly but if you are not certain of your answer, don't post it and confuse people. |

Awesome replies, thanks dudes, I really appreciate it. I think I'll stay away from friendly matches for a little while and just continue to join private leagues. All the best. Fangio |

Fangio No...you should schedule friendly matches. It is a source of income. As long as you play them in beta mode there is no loss of stamina or injuries. If you don't play friendlies, you are just shorting yourself out of money. I use friendlies to test new formations/tactics and to see how my current formation fares against stronger opponents so I can look for holes. |
