I actually kind of like the low salary ability for loans, it gives people an advantage for networking with people in the game. However few things are less fun than going up against a guy who wins solely because he has 3 95 av players when the rest of his team is 75 average.

Well stated, more reason why this idea is good. So that such manager that is willing to take such avg players will pay realistically for having such players.

I'm ok with losing to that guy....as long as he has to pay the salary for his loans that the loaner would set so as to preclude hostile. That evens things out in the end. He may win but I have more cash at the end of the season.

I dont know how to minus this any more hahaha

@illex is the only one who has the right perspective. Yes its less fun to see a 70 avg team with 85+avg loans beat you but its called NETWORKING PEOPLE!!! & tactics to defend against this, obviously. I am going thru these post and all i see is Div 3 + teams with a team avg of 85%+. What is the complaint really? That you will have a hard game against a newly promoted Div 4 opponent? That it wont be easy to ascend... that's the point of the game. Even if he is an experienced Div 3 opponent who manages to get Great players on loan from higher divisions it is your job to prepare to face a good team. Div 1 doesnt have problems with this , you know why? Cause their competition is in their own division. Div 2? Nope! They need to build a team that can withstand the possibility of competing in Div 1 once they ascend there. So stop the belly aching, if there is anything you have learned from playing this game is that every season every Div. (team avg) is getting better. We are seeing 80+ avg players in Div 4 when there was none a few seasons ago.

Soooooo I vote yes to protection on loans because like my last post (new junior resign), since you (devs) made the field uneven by removing the protection of (R), then there should be some protection of some sort. Any type not just exorbitant salaries to ward off hostile takeovers. There are already restrictions on loans (multiple loans to one team) that stop us from stacking the game completely to our favor. Everything else is what this game was created for.... love of futbol & managing (networking).

I agree,my point in this thread was unfair advantage some teams with monster players have.

I am not against lower divs getting more money by this, this is old thing some spaniards are doing this from the start of SM.

Give lower divs 1B to all if you like but main problem is what if i have 80avg team in div.3 and i cant promote coz 2 other teams have 95avg forwards and are paying 1M salary for all 3 players and i pay for my ~85avg forwards like 10B+ salary?

Lets say 2 friends agree to loan to eachother LF+CF+RF every season for 4 seasons.

When they hit ~95avg salary is 5 - 10 M lets take ~6 M for each player on average, 3 players x 6M = 18M week x 13 weeks = 234M per season x 4 seasons = 936M.
So they made near 1B profit each from nothing and pay peanuts for loans.
