There are many ways to have an advantage or disadvantage in a match... to name three; stamina, advanced formations, Golden Balls.

If your friend has decided to leave because of one game (assuming he's not just overreacting and attention seeking) it's probably fair to assume he simply doesn't enjoy the game. It takes more than the loss of one match, but an annoyance over several weeks, possibly with several aspects of the game to decide to give up. As all those Managers with fines demonstrate; there are plenty of people who simply can't formate a plan for success, or have the capacity to get the best out of this game.

Am sure you cant accept it. Things like this frustrate people.

Herzhan,
You're right; I doubt I'd appreciate being beaten by a team of goalkeepers. But I believe I would treat it as an opportunity to learn. Losing such a game would suggest the other manager knows a few tricks and has a strategy that I can learn from, or that my strategy and playstyle is utterly useless and therefore needs some adjustment. I think you can learn more from a loss than you do from a win.

Yes, we always learn from defeat.
