JensonJet said: Hi @yoyoyoyoyo, Could you clarify the paramaters for an account being closed down. I've taken many breaks from games (my current circumstances right now have forced me away from several for a while) and one day I will take a break from this game and would like to know what the rules are exactly. So I gather being better than everyone in your league puts you in the firing line, for a start... but I'm unclear on what other positions and how many weeks I'm allowed off before I know to give up completely on Striker Manager? Depends how long you've been on the game before taking a break, and whether you have enough players on the roster + your account balance. We think twice before resetting accounts that have a deposit of hundreds of millions. Normally you wouldn't risk being out for more than 45 days even though you know the auto-removal of accounts is buggy. We would remove teams that are not in the higher leagues + have been inactive for more than 45 days but not been automatically removed by the system. If they are, say in div 3 or 4 and the roster is complete, we'll not reset. One. For teams that have been inactive for more than a month but less than 45 days, we cannot reset for any reason except when the manager hasn't filled his squad. The games will be suspended and active managers playing such teams at home will not get their revenue so we do reset them. Two. If you do, however, take a break, either inform us so we can make a note of it on your suspects profile for other fiscals to see, or if it's a month long break, keep the squad filled to 18-20 players. |

Ya i forgot about 45 days rule, this is fair enough. |

Brilliant, cheers for the clarification Mr Yoyoyoyoyo, I'll do that. I know I will take a break at some point either for a break or because I'll be forced to and will do as you suggest. Thank you. If what you've explained isn't clear anywhere in the instructions, as part of the game or within one of the forums guides, I think it's worth putting this information up. I genuinely think closing down accounts is an otherwise bad move (although resetting a team if it's old and falls below the minimum is fair) for a game that needs all the customers it can find. Anyway, thank you. | 22/04/2015 18:03 |

Yeah I'm slowly working on that. I've been dealing with a lot of guys with over a year of experience who never looked up for Rules and FAQs. I want them to see it when they reach the forums. Although the resetting procedure isn't just one for everyone, so there isn't a clear guide which can be put on the forum. Even though I think it's a good idea to tell managers what could be done to prevent manual resets by fiscals if they're only taking a break from the game. I'll look for the correct forum where I can post this and everyone will see it. |

Anyway, thank you. Two things: 1) if the team is fit for a leaque match and longstanding, I am loathe to reset regardless of how long the manager has been MIA. 2) consider a manager that wants to take break for a season or two, sells off his team and fills with junk players, with the intent to either rebuild. They may have several $B after a sell off. A season is 91 days. I'm not going to reset that account, even if suspended league matches occur, without considerable attempts and time to reach that manager. |

Mr Vgates, Ok, so if an extended break is likely then replacing your first team with cheaper and young alternatives is a good idea then? It makes sense, especially as you'll either ruin your current squad somewhat and you could end up with a reduced squad due to retirements. When the time comes I'll do that then and make sure I let you guys know. Cheers. |

But as I have already said, the auto-reset is very very buggy so teams like this do not get reset. |

But as I have already said, the auto-reset is very very buggy so teams like this do not get reset. He has pack manager and enough money to pay his bills. He has enough players to field a team and I'm not going to reset that team until he has suspended league matches AND someone IN HIS GROUP asks for a reset. That's one other point - if you're not in the same Division/Group, don't ask for a reset. It doesn't affect you. Sometimes managers are happy to have a suspended league game just to rest their players. |
