I think we should be able to edit a specific position of a player in any formation e.g I got a im that I want to be playing as a no.10 and my lim and rim should be more defensive. I should be able to edit it |

If it's simply a case that you want a player to play in a certain position you can do that using advanced formation, with some drawbacks. If, as I think you mean, you'd like to edit the details of the player, this is a little more tricky. The problem I see with this, and there are likely many more, is to do with his training. Scenario 1) Imagine I've bought a 95 prog LB, 25 avg, 14 years for 80m. What's to stop me changing his position to a CDF (far more valuable than a LB)? I doubt this would be good for the market, or welcomed by those who train valuable and rare positions. Scenario 2) The same LB is now 18 years and 90 avg. His speed, ball steal, strength, technique and aggressiveness are all up around 90%. His pass, shot and dribbling are not good, around 30%, and his saves stat is 0. At age 18, assuming this 95 prog is constant, you'd still be able to make very large steps into training up this player's pass, shot and dribbling if you changed his position to LW, for example. You'd technically be able to create a perfect player, capable of playing almost any position to Div 1 standard. This doesn't seem like something that would benefit the game, either. you can actually make your lim rim more defensive by using advanced formation and tactics. Also you can make your im play more like a no.10 by using advnced formation. |
