Hi guys,

I am a new manager and it's fairly easy to get into the game and learn how it works. The tutorial is great and you have a reason to complete it. Here some things that could be improved though:

1. When starting a new game the youth team is absolutely useless compared to the guys that you can get on the transfermarket atm. This means a new team has to replace every single guy on their youth team right away. It would be a lot more motivating if new teams started with better youth players (for example 20-35 average, instead of 10-20 average) an so would be able to keep some of them.
2. In my main team almost all the players are very old, I started the game 1 week ago and 8 of my players are 29 years old and older, one is 33 and will retire soon. It's okay to have some older players, but it would be better if most of the team would be between 18 and 25 years old. For a new team it is very very pricy to replace any guy in the main team and if you have so many old players you will see them retire very fast and they are losing skills instead of being trained and thus you aren't able to use tactics efficiently because you will not be able to have players for all positions.
3. If I understand correctly, then the season will be over very soon although in my league there are will be only 4 games played. It would be good if teams (especially from incompleted leagues) would not be promoted directly but play a relegation match to see if they are up to the task of a higher league. Otherwise new teams will be bashed on higher leagues and thus lose interest.

Cheers

Nope, I already have my team, so this would have no effect on my team or my progress.

Situation is changed anyway compared to when you started:
1. now there is a transfermarket where you get average 30 juniors for 10'000. Juniors in youth school are between 10 and 20 average, they are very bad.
2. I just think it's silly especially with the new changes with retirement to start with players that retire right away. New players have have been cheaper a few season ago than they are now. Inflation seems to be a big thing in this game.
3. now teams are stronger in league 5 compared to when you were new. I have looked at some of the teams and there would be no way a new team could beat most of the teams, even the ones that seem to go to lower leagues.

You know..that can be a big mistake..thinking that your youth team is useless.

New teams have atleast one player with a really high progression, usually. Though you will have to wait till 8k xp to find out who..but i will suggest you to set training for all the players in the first week and then see which players are training the most and then work on them

Most of your comments are based on assumption. Right now,the price of players are dipping down at a great speed. Idont know where you got a 30avg player for 10,000 cuz i can see 40 avg players going for 10,000-50,000.

Teams in division 5 are not stronger. They are full of high avg teams with inactive or no managers,so they can be beaten easily. Playthe game for a month.Observe and then go about making comments. You cant just keep on assuming.

Okay didn't know that with progression, thank you.
The best junior I had is still in my team, he is a "19" average. Even with a big progression it would be kind of hard to reach the 30-35 juniors I get from transfermarket for free, don't you think?

Main team players aren't that cheap though. I did bid on tons of players and they are not affordable for my new team.

About assumptions:
1. it is a fact that youth teams are atm 15-20 average points below the ones you get on tm for nothing.
2. it is a fact that starting teams are old and with the new changes of retirement this isn't very helpful.
3. look at the average of teams in your league and in mine. Ask yourself if it wouldn't be better if teams like mine would first make a game that shows that they are able to compete with those teams instead of promoting them in leagues that may be way to strong and relegation a team that will be too strong for 6. league. It is possible that those teams are inactive, but I am sure you know, new players will hardly be able to beat a team with 10-15 higher average just with tactics And if they are, and win the relegation match, then they fit in the higher league and can be promoted.

A player with 90progression will go from 20avg to 60avg in a season with 90+ coach. Those 35 avg youth players you are looking at are useless.Making your youth team is useless. Their matches dont win you promotion or money. Go for high pg players, train them..in a few season..u will have 80 avg players and read the faq and tutorials..that will make it more clear to u
