I didn't know this, especially the part where you say no one was able to bid. When I logged in at afternoon, I was able to bid for a player, I have no idea about what happened at morning. In this case you're ok. You should have clarified first, because this is a uncommon bug.

Also, yesterday morning I had more important things to do than wasting my time here. I went to the beach at 10 A.M.

3. It's interesting how wiseguy from 2nd league still have no clue that auction times are undependable on season endings. But, that is actually good news, that is possible to reach higher leagues without knowing much about the game. Thank you!
