13 is a very difficult age for a kid to really decide whether he wants to pick up one sport over the other. Usually between 10-13, kids try out many sports and hopefully by 14 they pick one they like. Also during this age, there are many distractions which were not there before, prime example... girls. Lol  , a 14year old kid can still be at football academy and once a while receive call for junior team but not as a permanent junior team player. |
