Its always an big question if u re new advanced formation is gonna work and the big problem is that we cant see if it work or not, then i got something to ask. Isnt possible to make an mini simulation like 2 minutes to see how the players are moving on the field? It would help a lot for perfecting our's formations. |

I have a better idea, how about using the friendlies as a opportunity to test out your advanced formation... and its like a preview for full 90 mins. You are welcome. don forget to click Beta. | 18/08/2015 13:24 |

that won't work because: to test a formation change for a particular position, you will have to control the movements of all the players around to understand properly the change in the effect. Which really can't happen in a mini simulation. The best bet is to actually play few friendly games and guess the effectiveness. Also as a manager you have to take risks and go by your gut feeling. thats what happens in real life and understandably thats what the devs have tried to simulate here. If everyone knew exactly how the formation change was going to work out, we would have very boring matches. A lot depends not only on the formation, but the different attributes of the players themselves and also more importantly your opponents strategy and players. Thats what makes it exciting, the unknowable part. |

In real life managers are trying them formation by 1st team against 2nd team,to see how it goes with a new project and they are not waiting for friendly game to try it.of course u cant know what the opponent is reserving u but if u come on the game with something that is for u good then u ll not get excuses about u formation. | 19/08/2015 11:34 |

When you actually move the ball in the advanced formation, you can see how all YOUR players move as well with respect to the ball's position. This itself should help you set the strategy, aggressiveness, defence. A mini preview will not tell you much, since there are a lot of variables which are unpredictable. | 20/08/2015 10:35 |

Your advanced formation preview is useless, even friendly is useless to try out advanced formation against specific team unless you schedule your game against that particular team or your opponent recreates all his tactical tweaks (mimics). So how would a little automated preview help other than for you to see how your adv. formation will behave against standard formation? Unnecessary and complicated to do with no return effect what so ever. Friendlies give better test than this kind of thing could ever do. Edited by ForzaJuve! 20-08-2015 10:52 |
