We all know that leadership skills increases the average stats of the strikers. But how do they affect in game? A 90 average striker with 97 leadership better or a 85 average striker with 75 leadership better? Why? |

I think that leadership makes the player gains experience faster and consequently having more powerups and that's it. the player will not be better than another if it has leadership it is better an attacker with excellent estastisticas example an attacker with shooting, dribbling and speed 96 and technical resistance and 90+ and lead 65 of an attacker with 85 but with a leading 97 to give a high average but that does not serve anything. I have helped greetings. |

I've always been told that you should look to buy a low-leadership striker. This is because their actual, important stats will be better, and if a mgr really wants leadership trained, they just need to do penalty shots, and it goes up quick enough. That's why whenever I loan out a xF, I always ask if the mgr trains penalty shots. If so, they don't get my player. Skills will be gained - imo - from playing someone and them scoring. My opinion only. |

The younger forwards gets trained in leadership, the faster they get to high rating in the stat. The higher the leadership, the faster they gain XP, so the better they can play. Much XP gets you more skills that helps your players to perform better. When a player is trained in leadership when he is 14-15yo he can get 3-4 points for each training (+90 prog), so his development is way faster than when trained in his old days. A top FWD trainer suggested me to train leadership as soon as I could so that I could focus on basic trainings later on. In my training schedule leadership is fundamental, since I want young strikers with high stats and many skills, which will make the difference when I will get to div 2-3. However, it is true that high leadership biases the average of a player, but if it does affect that much I don't think it is because of a bug. |
