Now,in the last 3 days,I've gotten numerous requests about building advanced formation from various managers. I try to help in my own little way. That's why I'm going to give some of you a guide on how to build an advanced formation. First things first, let's start with the defense. I always try to crowed my defense,and those with 3 defenders,you crowd with the help of Your mids,and it is easy to do. First of all, maintain your defense to be a bit but not that much high which can get opponents into committing offsides. Secondly, place at least two players on the ball whenever the ball is in your box. Your DMF will be the best man for this kind of work since he's faster than the other defenders,and with a better pass accuracy and aggressiveness. To the mids, let them play as LDF/RDF since your natural defenders will be busy patrolling the box. Your strikers must also drop deep to make it easy to pass the ball to them whenever you win it back. Remember to put them in line and close to each other enough to allo w them exchange passes. Remember this is done when defending. To the attacking side, play your strikers in line to avoid offsides and position your mids in a way they can exchange passes. Play IM/OM a bit ahead since they always give the killer pass. Don't hesitate to ask me, if you did not get something right or if something is not clear to you.
