AN EBOLA PASSENGER.
This happened to me the very month that wicked
Liberian brought Ebola to Nigeria.
I woke up very late on a Sunday for church
service, all thanks to Nigeria useless power
supply because there was no light and the heat
was just too much and I could not sleep in time.
I woke up with a start and started running around
trying to meet up with the church service, by the
time I took my bath and ran out of the house to
the bus stop I barely had enough time before the
commencement of the first service.
When I finally got to the park, there was not
much buses around been Sunday, so I had to
wait a little. The few buses that came was
almost filled to brim with people, and I was a bit
uneasy with myself for not waking up earlier
when one bus came up and parked in my front,
without hesitation I jumped inside the bus and
struggled pushing my way inside.
I finally got a sit between one fat guy and a lady
at the Centre of the bus and the driver sped off.
We have not gone more than a few yards when I
suddenly discovered that the fat guy just sat
carelessly and not comporting himself well, I
turned to him and I said..
ME... Guy pls seat well am choking here, this
place is too tight for me, pls adjust small!
Guy... Pls hold it there, where do you want me to
shift to? Am paying the same fare like you would
do, but pls let me enjoy my money.... The guy
refused to shift.
I was boiling with anger within me because of
what the guy said, I now decided within myself
to play a fast joke on him at least to shake him
a little.... I said this loudly for everyone to hear
me!
ME.. I hope everyone here is hearing what I am
saying, I told this guy to shift a little because I
know what am suffering from, I am an ebola
patient, I have been suffering this ailments now
close to two months. I have told this guy to shift
forward so that he won't be affected by this
sickness,but he refused!
I had barely finish uttering what I was saying
when I had the screech of the tyres of the bus
and it came to a halt,
Before I could say jack robbinson, the driver
opened the door and took to his heels running as
fast as his legs could carry him, the whole
people in the bus started jumping out through
the window and everyone scattered all over the
place including the conductor, except the lady
that was sitting besides me laughing sheepishly
at me.....
Saying... Brother don't mind them jare, that is
how people used to behave, we that has this
EBOLA will keep telling them to adjust or shift
they won't answer person....she continued....
Brother na waooooooo so I will finally see
someone suffering this type of my EBOLA
sickness, thank God no be only me get this thing,
pls brother which medicine
You dey use for your own, the one I dey use no
dey work at all,.....
My people I never knew I could pass through the
tiny window at the back of the bus, how I
squeezed myself through the window and jumped
outside is still a mystery to me!... I ran and
crossed the three express road without looking at
an on coming vehicle.
See me see wahala oooo. I hope I never get the
