The game freezes for a couple of minutes and then all 3 players re-enter the pitch. So you still have 11 players. I'd have to watch more of the simulation to confirm but don't have time now. Known bug, if one of the players to be subbed has to do a throw-in, this usually happens |

The bug is that subs don’t happen from time to time. There is no solution to that. There is no bug that they go out and don’t come in and you play 7. |
