Take a look at their similar transfers and form an idea for each player, taking into account their future potential and value for you, of what price you'd be willing to lose them for. Then reduce their salaries by as much as possible down to this point. Example: your 32 year old GK - he's no longer appreciating in value. He has less than 1 and a half seasons left in the game. Does his release clause need to be so high? |
