But of course they might pay for some WiFi connectivity to a telecommunications company. Similarly, the money you pay for your mobile data goes to your telecommunications company, not to U-PLAY. The game generates revenue from advertising and via selling Golden Balls. Aside from your WiFi/data costs (again, not going to U-PLAY) it is not compulsory to pay a single cent to enjoy the game (although I would highly recommend it in some situations) so therefore all of these things you mentioned are available to all users free of charge. You may see this as a rough deal but compared to the market I think it's quite good to get so much of the fruits of someone's effort and investment for nothing. But that's only my opinion. When you recharge 1000 naira to call your mum, does it mean your mummy will receive the amount you spent on calling her? airtel users knows it is our respective network that suck our data, not the website. While the knowledgeable ones will know that website profit from traffic, advert on the site and what they sell. Looking at sm, 200 online is not rewarding for traffic, no advert here, so we all know sm profit from the golden balls they sell. The foolish ones will call this rubbish and won't even try to use Google to learn to know how website function. |
