I just bought a player for 187 million by paying the release clause. The tax I got deducted was 18 million, so almost 10%. Compared to tax paid for players you bid at auction (5%) it's double. Does anyone know why that is? I wasn't expecting it to be so high | 14/03/2019 14:30 |

It doesn't matter, whether hostiled or auctioned. Not quite, Posh. The seller pays the formation right, not the buyer. The tax rate increases between 5 and 10% depending on the price. I'm trying to find the thresholds for you but I haven't managed to yet. |

When you buy a player you pay between 5% and 10% tax. |

I did some experimenting and found that the tax goes from 5% to 6% when the players cost gets to 29 million. I would guess the increments are every 29million then, but couldn't verify as I'm broke ha. Thanks for your response  |
