i wish it was possible to substitute more then 3 players a game also, what about for-fitting a game. would be good if one knows they lose a game but want to save their players energy for next |

the hostile takeover clause is really messing up the game. you can't even keep people long enough to make a decent training plan let alone see the effects of it. i just sold my school and hired a very cheap youth coach to save money. i rather use it to replace the players that are taken from me. another thing i noticed about it is that there are teams out there that basically take your team apart right before you have a game against them hoping that you will be caught with your pants down and lose. i had another guy buy my GK, when i checked his team he already had 7 GK's =( WTF how about monitoring for Rough players and harvesting teams? |

true, i could do that but 1. why would i pay them more if i have a contractual agreement with the player already and why is it so easy to break that agreement? 2. thats exactly why there is an inflation problem, because the person that buys the player over pays .. by a margin. then when they sell them, they don't sell them at market value, they sell them at the overpriced price they bought them for. more and more players like this show up on then market and people starting to think maybe you have to overpay for a decent player 3. there will always be somebody who has more resources and be able to buy your players. so you won't be able to keep good ones around, no matter what you pay them or you end up paying them so much that they impact on your team and winnings does not match up with there salary |

I totally disagree about hostile clause I think it is one of the biggest parts of the game, if they got rid of hostile clause managers will be forever messaging other managers for their players with no answer. Plus you speak of hostile clause causing inflation It could be but without hostile clause there would be no reason to have high wages so that would make more money floating around the game. |

Seriously? |

why would i pay 20k for a player thats worth less then half? only so nobody could or would take him from me? i have no problem paying 20k+ for someone thats worth it, not for someone who barely has 30 skill but it's has become so common that i have no choice |

If he's worth less why would anyone buy him off of you, I'm not sure you're quite getting it. If he's not worth 20k a week, then you should be happy that he got hostiled He's worth what someone will pay, price your players according to what they are worth to you, don't complain if someone thinks they're worth more. |

example: you can have a 40 point player that would be on your team for just under 10k and a release clause of 6mil. i am a mediocre team in div 5. for me it's a good player and spending 6 mil for him is a price tag. a div 4 player looks at him and just needs someone to jump in because he has a player injured playing the same position. he is going to snatch him up unless i pay the guy 15k or 20k which pushes the release clause to 10mil or 15mil. great he is not going to buy him but i artificially inflated his value just to protect him from being stolen away. am i complaining about paying him a few bucks more? no .. but i don't think this is the sense of the game. why would you invest your time and money in expensive staff and training? why would anybody even go to the market to look for a decent player if you are in div 5 or up. you won't, you go look for what you need and grab it if it is the right price. no matter if he is for sale or not. and thats exactly what is happening. plus, the value of lower grade players is inflated which pushes the value of higher grade way up. now you have players with 60+ skill point worth 70mil, 80mil, 90mil and i have seen as high as 100mil .. because to get and keep a 50+ player you already have to pay 25mil+ on top of it you have ppl here making a business just out of that. harvesting players. buy them young and cheap, train them, sell them high and destroy the team just to move on to the next. i don't know, it sounds like the majority here is ok with that but it takes the fun out of the game for me i want to play, i want to compete fair and square, i want to be a better manager, not a better hustler what are all these rules for if ppl spend more time finding loopholes in them then actually managing their teams |
