Infact in football there nothing like all rounder player but is limited to individual position. Imagine a player who can defend, attack and also perform in midfield, but lack goal scoring ability or doesnt good in assisting goals, can not score freekick, or not even good in noding. I dont think football has ever produce a player who can score many goal, creat assist, dribble, good in header, freekick specialist, fast, skilful.good in defence,midfield and attack |

As to me, that would be Xabi Alonso, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Nuri Sahin - in fact most of world class defensive midfielders (their free kicks, passes, dribblings, shots, defending, playmaking, goal scoring, tackling are all above average to excellent). That's what an all-round player should be, however if you want to discuss who's the best offensive player, that's a different story - there C. Ronaldo surely is one of the best if not the best. But he's far from all-round as he fails in any kind of defensive play. |

And that's coming from a person who HATED him a few years back because he dove allllll the time. |
