This happened multiple times throughout my game and very clearly on the 22nd minute.

Yep even if they're all in your half, the fact still remains that you were in an offside position when the ball was played. 24/02/2012 10:36

If you are in your own half when the ball is passed and the defenders are in front of you that is not offside. I haven't watched the match or anything cause I'm lazy today, just throwing my 2 cents in there. 24/02/2012 11:27

No he means when all of his opponents players are in his half, including defenders(The suicide offside trap) and his forwards are in his opponents half. 24/02/2012 11:48

please all, that's no offside as long as my opponent's defenders leave their half into mine. Even if my striker is in my opponent's 6-yard box at that time, it's not o. It is an offside cal when they are in their half. 24/02/2012 12:14

This is from FIFA's website so he's offside Brown.

Offside position

It is not an offence in itself to be in an offside position.

A player is in an offside position if:

* he is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent

A player is not in an offside position if:

* he is in his own half of the field of play or
* he is level with the second-last opponent or
* he is level with the last two opponents

Substitute
If he is ahead of the opposition defenders in the opposition half then he is offside. It doesn't matter that the opposition defenders are parking the bus in his half.
The only time it wouldn't be offside is if HIS STRIKER is NOT IN FRONT of the defenders in the oppositions half.
Hope that clear's it up slightly.
