You were on his half of the field while all of the opponents defenders were on your half of the field. You can tell you are offside by clicking looking where you are on the pitch relative to where the defenders are. You are not offside if the ball was played 2 seconds earlier because you player was still on his own half. By FIFA rule, if you are on your own half, you cannot be offside. Because all of his players are on your half, the offside line is set at midfield. You player was across midfield when the ball was played, so he is offside. | 24/02/2012 14:15 |
