am accepting help from all sides, would like to know which you guys think would work better, 2 comps 1 65+ and one <65 or 1 comp where teams had to have one manager with <45av team 2 managers with 45-65av teams and 2 managers of any level. |

I guess 2 comps; 65+ and <65. However, if you wanted to make this more interesting, maybe you can do something like this; 1. 2 groups for <45 2. 1 group for 45 - 65 3. 1 group for 65+ This is due to more new team with <45 even with experienced user which they had sacked from old team. Mostly, teams with <45 av will lost their early stage of SC. So it will give them chances to play for their country. Total of 4 groups really hard to monitor, so you may create a "World Cup" community where each group will be handled/organized by a user (but to follow whatever rules/arrangement by "the community"). Just a suggestion.  |

I don't think it would be fair to leave any nation out. Rather use the random sequence generator to give seeds to the countries and thus giving some of them byes. If there are more than 16 countries we can just extend the draw and give byes to some countries so that it all works out. Also, @blue instead of allowing people to vote for their nation (popularity contest) why not allow these countries to go through a playoff to determine who represents the country. This brings me back to my first point. The countries with more managers would get a bye to play their playoff draw while the "World Cup" goes one, which they would join at a later stage. Just my two cents, I'm up for helping with the organization or whatever is needed. | 18/03/2012 04:30 |
