i started about a year ago and the number of active managers in the stats page has remained around 12k divs 1-4 are pretty much full = 1700 managers div 5 full up would be 5100 managers but is down by at least 10% but makes little diff the issue imo is divs 6 and 7. Div 7 is empty of active managers whilst div 6 has about 2 active in each league roughly there are maybe 2000 new managers in div 6 and 7 giving us imo a manger total of around 7000 why is the stat page designed to lie? its a simple enough to give us real facts and not embelish them - its not politics afterall |

wives, I think the stats also include all the managers that log in for a day and then quit. Then they are removed after 45 days. Not a lie. Just need to understand the stats. As someone said there's " statistics, statistics and damn lies" or something like that. I'm sure the wikipedia boys with correct me. |

Totally agree. Playing in div 5 is sooo boring. I can't remember when I lost a play in league, as every game won in private league is a satisfaction and asks to study the opponent. Why on earth making so many groups ? |

Why on earth making so many groups ? Div 7 and 6 and the places where you get your stadium sorted out and refine tactics. Don't be in a rush, div4 will come soon enough. |

I agree and am not in a rush, but that could be the same with less groups, players competing with real persons equally weak. |

Honestly once you hit the "real" managers, things get a lot harder. I've seen managers in div 4 with 72000 standing seats 12k general and nothing else. 7/6 and maybe 5 is to get the balance right so you can survive higher up. In the lower leagues you can make silly mistakes and still get promoted, it's a sandbox. | 08/06/2012 23:18 |

I begin to understand better. It s a good point you have here. But! What if ALL players of a div play bad? As new players tend to do, I agree, new players can do sh*t. I've done it, and I will. Would it be still so hard? Don't will players that have spent some time, understood better the game that would be promoted? Same result, but they have been challenged during the season? ? |

it was benjamin disraeli pm during crimea war who said there are lies, damn lies and then there are statistics he was a clever dude he bought the suez canal using his own capital as collateral because parlement was closed it reopened payed him back - we then made loads more cash having a supply route halved - until nasa nationalised it in 50's and as for maybe it takes 45 days to remove the managers who sign up and leave - i dont think so as i have been looking at active managers since my arrival |
