I dont think they have stopped working, there are some really strong teams in upper divisions using l/rb. I would lean towards the fact that you promoted, and are now facing 1) better squads 2) different/better tactics and 3) The last group match(monday) you lost 4-0, and your opponent used a pair of backs, yet you didn't score. | 10/10/2012 12:55 |

I'm going to throw in my 2 cents. I have used L/RB since I started in division 7. It took me awhile to really get the game. I've got a decent pair of L/RBs and I have to be honest here, they are worth nothing to me. They are basically space fillers in my formation, I've rarely seen a game in which they perform well. Running past the ball, can't receive/deliver a pass, tackling is useless, no sense of positioning for an impending tackle, oh running the ball out of bounds all the time, that one gets to me. I can't stand watching their performances in the sim, I am shipping mine out in time. They cost me a bit of money and effort to get them where they are now, but I might as well have a cardboard printout of them on the pitch, it would do a better job  |

Running past the ball and running the ball out of bounds all the times are things I see about every player on the field do. I don't even think any defender can pass/receive the ball...seriously...and you forgot to add defenders jumping multiple times trying to head the ball which is out of their reach and therefore losing speed while the opponent is cruising pass. Tackling is 50/50 for me...for any defender whether they are fullbacks or not. I am actually grateful for my fullbacks making great tackles in the box without costing my team penalties. |

Pls admin/developers do something |

If you position your fullbacks well, they will do a better job for you. I use my RB instead of RDF. |

The probelm with backs is that noone takes the time totrain them properly, technique is the attribute that allows you to turn on a coin and accellerate. They arent harder to tain in that skil than cdf's but they start with alower tchnique skill than cdfs. Eam, if you dont train them right, then they are terrible againsT wingers, fast wingers will go past and they take hours to turn around. Tequnique is the attribute that no one looks at, but is probably the most important for all defenders. | 11/10/2012 19:51 |
