I have two players that were both supposed to move up a point back on Monday the 21st. When I go back now and look at their forecasts, there is just a chunk of line missing where the current number should be. I have trained both players since Monday, so that isn't the problem. Does this happen to anyone else? How long has this been happening to me? I'm going to start documenting all of my players forecast numbers from now on to make sure my players are advancing as they should. | 24/01/2013 05:01 |

That graph is just an estimate of when average will increase and can change at any time depending on how often you train, your coach percentage, the motivation of the player, how old he is. Average of the player doesn't just increase because the graph says so, you have to make it increase. That graph just shows the potential. | 24/01/2013 08:24 |

As I said before, I've trained my players twice since the date they were expected to go up. One was less than .10 away, trained twice, and still hasn't risen. I mean why even have forecast at all if it isn't accurate? It costs actual money to get Golden balls to check forecasts, they should at least be correct. | 24/01/2013 08:58 |

My coach is a 97.5, but what does that matter? The forecast changes depending on how good your coach is. The forecast is still active, meaning it's recent. | 24/01/2013 09:08 |

Patient is right the forecast changes and is only a estimate, it doesn't show you exactly what is going to happen with your player think of the forecast as a guess | 24/01/2013 09:28 |

Then why give exact dates on the forecast graph? Seems a bit misleading. | 24/01/2013 09:49 |

The forecast could be right sometimes, the forecast doesn't know what you are going to train so it will never be accurate, it is just a guide, | 24/01/2013 09:52 |

So which one is it? The forecast could be right sometimes, or the forecast doesn't know what your going to train so it will never be accurate? Confused as ever. | 24/01/2013 10:00 |

Definition of forecast: Predict or estimate (a future event or trend). It is like any other prediction it could be right, I'll give you a example I have defenders which the forecast says they will go up in 7 average in a month, if I train them everyday at 100 motivation they go up around 10-11 in a month, so I beat the forecast But if I trained them 4-5 days a week they will go up about 7 in the month so the forecast would be right, Also as I said the forecast doesn't know what you will train, so if you decide to train a different position the forecast will still show a rise but your player will never rise. Does this make you understand a bit more? |

Let me say it this way and see if it helps. I keep up with my players training on a regular basis. I've been keeping track of how much each player improves for each different training option. I am aware that a players attributes from training fluctuate depending on progression, forecast, motivation...... That being said, in the last 3 days since these two specific players were slated by the forecast grid to rise, their training numbers have gone down significantly. For example, I trained a CF that was .10 away from going up a point twice since Monday. One training exercise was Shots on goal, the other Sprint. Just last week those two training exercises would have risen the player by half a point, but this week, 3 days after the forecast'd rise, the player can't even get past .10? Frustrating. | 24/01/2013 10:21 |
