Should have been 3-1 or so. Ramos let Welbeck alone in manU goal. It wasn't corner though. Shameful Manchester in the first half... didn't expect that defensive way to play. Where was Rooney? Playing like RIM? |

I guess... De Gea and Welbeck played superbly. RVP got unlucky ~70th minute I don't know why Di Maria was subbed out... He played really well |

Raphael played like crap, the mistake was not attacking him and his awful shoes. Ronaldo was played in the wrong spot, they should have had him pushing Raphael. the fact that Vidic was out really hurt them. with Rooney, Wellbeck and Van Persie all blown by end of game, they were lucky to have the attacks that they did. DeGea saved the game...repeatedly, and Ferdinand actually had a solid outing. I don't think the Real Madrid defense had a good game at all. like none of them. Man U should have pressured them the same way they were being pressured. Of course, Ronaldo's header was textbook. |

Definitely see United winning the next leg. It was pretty unorthodox to see Fergie field defensive play, but it worked. United intensified their strengths in crossing, free kicks, and corners. When Modric was subbed on, there was no chance Mardid were going to come out on top. Rooney and RvP played like midfielders at times. Welbeck was good, De Gea, classy goalkeeping. I was pretty sure Jones deserved a card as you can get away with constant shoving and pushing in England, but its a different atmostphere in Europe. Ozil and Di Maria were tearing the Man U defense apart. Ronaldo bailed them out again. Madrid are just fluff and Ronaldo. Their strikers are out of form. Mourinho better head to City soon. Haha. |
