Admins in this game should pls reduce the numbers of teams that are going to be relegated at least reduce the numbers to 4 or 3 which is close to standard practise in football leagues.Cos a situation where by an active manager is relegated is very devastating.and i think defeats the purpose which the game serves.... | 01/03/2013 10:13 |

in a real football league, they have a fixed number of teams playing in the competition. In SM, the active number of teams is variable, the devs have to take that into account and thats why such high number of teams relegating. its a top down design from div 1 to div 6. Follows simple logic. Unfortunately this cannot be brought down to 4-6 but probably if they actively removed lot of inactive members, they could bring the number down to 9-10. | 01/03/2013 10:36 |

The amount of teams relegated is nothing to do with active/inactive managers but is fixed but the league structure. There is 1 league in division1, 4 leagues in division2, 16 leagues in division3, 64 leagues in division4 ... The way promotion and relegation works with a pyramid structure like this is 2 teams are promoted and 8 go down. The only way to change the number of teams relegated is to change the structure or change how many teams are promoted. That is not going to happen. |

changing the structure of the game should not be a big deal becos what the use relegating me to div 5 where there is only 7 active managers instead of leaving me in my previous div were there are lots of active managers and fun too.Believe me the organisers have alot to benefit becos there are instances where immediately a manager is relegated he stops coming online reducing internet traffic and purchase of golden balls there by resulting shortage of funds. | 01/03/2013 12:11 |

No one can simply cant blame the structure of the game just because he/she is relegating in a Group full of System Bot teams. He really needs to work out his formations and beat those teams and promote. If you want the developers to reduce the teams relegating, then they need to reduce the number of teams promoting as well to balance it out. Im not sure anyone would agree to reducing the number of teams promoting. |

as it was said before with the pyramid structure it has to be this way. also with a lot of managers still active in div 5 it gives them a chance to promote as you have to remember only 2 managers promote. another thing to add is that the pyramid structure is implemented as it is gives more prestige to the the higher divs which in turn should make you want to be a better manager to be there |

Since the managers in the top leagues seem to be quite commited and don't quit quite so frequently I can imagine modifying the pyramid structure of the upper divisions could be a good idea. For example: Why not have 1 group in division 1, 2 groups in division 2, 4 groups in division 3, 8 groups in division 4 and 16groups in division5? Then 2 teams could still get promoted but only 4 would get relegated. In the lower divisions everything would stay the same since more managers become inactive there and their teams need to get flushed out of the system. I think that could create more stable leagues and more excitement. |
