In practice It will affect the direction the strikers will run in. So if its in the middle they will run straight up the field, towards wide they will angle away from the goal, towards the centre, they will angle in towards the centre of the pitch. I suppose one use of it could be if you're playing against a defensive team would be a "if drawing or if losing" tactic to make your team switch maybe to the flanks if you're not getting through the centre. But it may well affect defender positions, so you could end up opening a hole in your own defense. When i used to use 2 wingers in attack, i'd push them out wide with it and they would tend to try to go around the defense. But i did have a defense issue and had to play 5 or sometimes 6 across the back(counting dfms as defenders) to keep people out. |

ok, so means, it didnt affect ball direction when shooting, only player movement. thx @grantis |
