That's just bad luck. I had it for two seasons in a row, made all of 11 million each season for decent cup runs. 3 seasons back I made close to 40 million and went on a pretty long cup run thanks to a bunch of weak opponents in the cup. This season I have at least 3 home games, so I'll make more like 20 million for sure. It's all luck.

You could draw a 1st div team in the first match of the cup and be knocked out, you could go up against a 4th div team playing full effort while you play 0 effort, etc, etc. It's the cup, any number of things can happen, you just have to hope the good things happen. The money made from cup sales isn't make or break money until you get to the later rounds, and when you finally get there, it's irrelevant what you made before that.

Of all the things in the game that need changing, this is the last on the list IMO.

Thats the problem "luck"...in a major match like Striker Cup....its just doesn't make any sense, being on right side or left side, the best thing is for the team with the highest income to host the game..
Its benefits both side, like a div 6 team going home with 6m,rather than playing at home, lost and earn nothing...
Its not supposed to be,take a season for an instance,a team plays game at home earn good cash, while another plays away and earn nothing,is there any equality in that.despite playing the same cup.

But not even...my next game make it 17away i think

I just dont think we need to continue with the current set up.

Playing at the best stadium, gives everyone equal benefits throughout, and also to settle the issue that keep coming up all the time.

moreover, everyone is in support of it.so

Maybe games could be played in a neutral stadium, but in some of the best with the owner receiving a percentage of gate revenue?....

Would be an extra incentive for people to remodel there stadiums.

To be fair, it is very hard for a div6 team to built a good stadium, with the prices in todays market.
So, i wouldnt mind at all giving a div 6 side 8m for an sc match against me at my stadium.
Plus, why shouldnt a div6 team get benefits even having crap stadium? They are new and do need help, especially since prices rose since you and i were in div 4-5-6.

p.s i didnt read this whole thread. skimmed through this page, so i may or may not have read ones comment correctly via my reply.
