-1 Cup games give chance to lower managers to have a chance of welcoming the big stars studded teams to there arena. Cup games are not so much for income purposes, but to create an avenue where every team got a chance to play each other no matter the division. Testing yout team's ability to play higher or lower teams, it is all experience. Nervertherless, i think cup games are generated radomly as a tree, and the venues falls base on how you proceed in the tree(i wish i could have use pictoral form but am on mobile). Come to think of it, if am not mistaken, Chelsea FC of England played all their Capital One Cup games away this season before eventually been knocked out, without playing a single home game in the competition. I think, it is fair as it is now and interesting. |

You dont get it man. Am not talking about just a season. Previously i complained about 4-5 games away to bad stadia, this time i got 6. Thats very bad,we cant compare SM with real life football, this is a game.everything must be balanced and fair. Moreover,if am not mistaken too ,the capital one cup is played home and away,if the first match ended in a draw. Over 4 seasons,am sure a team would have earned more than 200m,by playing most of his game at home, while others like me are always away. The problem is that its not balance as they claimed, and its not fair to me to some extent. Just think about this, assuming you are a new manager,in div 6,you played your game at home, earned 200k,and a friend played his away and earned 6m...how will you feel. If its not for money purpose as you said, maybe they can remove it.i mean cash revenue from SC. I knew you wont support it elf...when you played all your games at home. Capital One Cup games is a single match game that must have a winner, only the Semi-final game is scheduled to be played home and away. And Chelsea never did reach semi-final. I have had such fixtures as well, at times i even got no opponent to even earn little cash. The cup game is fair to me. If the game is decided in only 1 stadium and some manager do not have chance to play at home, Managers will still complain. What you consider necessary to you is otherwise to some managers. Like the instance that some managers will want to watch junior players played. It has been explain why watching youth team play wont be relevant but they still do not care, they just want to watch. Your theory of a team earning, 200m and other not in over 4 seasons is unrealistic. How many games do you get to play in Striker Cup, 4 or 5 or 6, and in the stadium with highest revenue. Managers will come to complain that they also do not have a better stadium to play like other managers, thereby been short changed in earnings. If this game is not structured to emulate(not in total) real life then this game won't be worth playing. Thats want keep me playing this game. Sometimes football games (especially cup games) are not for monetary gain alone, it is to breach the gap, it is to make the community whole. Do not get me wrong, money is now essential in football but that shouldn't take away the beauty of cup games. If this your idea is what all managers agreed on, then the cup game name will surelly change if implemented. |

Tell me,why a team with a bad stadium, will like to host games when he will earn more cash at a better stadium. How i wish you knew how i feel, but no....you play most of your games at home...all the 4 games you played this season were at home...i played 7,only one at home. I just confirmed that you dont get it...am not talking about team hosting games. But about playing at the best stadium...the team with best stadium hosts and the revenue is shared equally between both teams. Talking about beauty of the cup...is it in playing at a stadium with low capacity and poor assesories? 200m,an average div 2 team can earn that in 4 seasons, with 6 games at home The solution is that maybe they can completely remove game revenue from striker cup.simple! Its not balance.have been playing most games away for the past few season....and there are some teams like me too. Can you please go through the previous pages before your next post. Its just not ok the way it is! Edited by Oyewale 20-12-2013 11:12 |

This topic has been discussed before with devs and there was a clear answer "NO, It cant be done" The reason for this is to control the amount of cash you get. If everyone starts playing at best stadiums top teams will end up getting 200m+ just in revenues (depending on how far you go in SC). This will only just increase the cash flow into the game. Inorder to compensate that the games are random. You may one of the unlucky managers who end up on the right side of the SC table in which case you end up with less home games. But eventually there comes a point in SC that you will have home games, but for that you need to survive it. If you still have issues with not playing away games then all I can suggest is drop out of SC and play friendlies. |

It seems you are all walked up with this, and nothing to convince you. You said i played all SC games at home this season, how much is the earnings? Will it be compared to if a div1 team will also play all games at home? Will that be fair? Did you bother to check my last season schedules as well? Please why won't teams go to lower team stadium to play? You have to learn the history of FA Cup games in all country, it is to breach the gap amongs teams of all divisions. Why is that i get to play a div2 team in my first game? Is fair when other managers get to play div6 and div5 where they will play 0 effort and still win flawlessly? Am always on mobile, the recent captcha really piss me off whenever i try to hostile any player. Is fair that i get to miss out on hostile just because i can't be on PC? If we seek to find balance, at the end every manager will still complain of being left out. Well i hope they incorporate it in the new SM. |

Oyewale said: Its just too bad to be playing 4 away games against a div 6 team in SC,earning absolutely nothing like i did last season. Likewise,my next game will be the second game against such team.its ridiculous, when there is a good stadium where both teams can earn good cash,so my suggestion is that we play at the best stadium! +1 I played atleast 4 games at my home while I am against higher div. In return I received very little revenue. It would help it if I were at their homes. I like ur idea!. |
