Honestly the idea isn't terrible as people suggest but there is just one problem in the current system. Its the training. Trainings have been divided based on specific positions. So a outer midfield training wont be helpful to train inner midfielders and so on. If the developers allow managers so set individual trainings for players or give the option to train more than one position then the problem of farming may end. But again it will have a drawback. If everyone starts training their own players in juniors then what are you going to trade? How will one raise cash? The game becomes stagnant. You will hardly have any manager interactions or trade and the game will eventually die. What makes this game unique from other Football Manager games is the ability to chat, interact with managers all around the world. Once certain aspects are taken away its no different than those other games. Farming juniors is a necessity if you want to improve your team overall. Everyone at some point in time accepts this. You dont need to restrict teams to 2, 4 or 5 players per position. You simply start training players with a bit lower progression (80+ progression). Train your players to 70-75 average and sell them. Once you get some cash try and buy a higher prog player and so on while developing your senior team and stadium. Its just about how much time are you willing to give to the game. The more time you give the faster you rise up. And yes my last statement is if you dont like the idea just say you dont like it. Do not attack the manager who started the thread. Everyone has a different perspective to things. If next time I find someone attacking anyone on forums I will close that thread and detain the managers involved. |
