If you buy on auction for a very low price you will not be fined. If you buy via direct purchase or transfer agreement and the price is well out if market you will be fined. |

Follow-up question: Is it against the rule for two managers to bid up players on auction? For example, manager A places a player on auction at $0, manager B bids $0, manager C is a friend of manager A and bids $90k not intending to buy the player but to get B's bid to $100k. If not, what if A agrees to purchase the player from C for the auction price if C gets stuck with the player? I ask because I find it a bit odd that higher div managers who bid on junior players but get out bid then do not buy similar players on auction right afterwards, even when marketed to them ![]() @sabrefan62 said: If you buy on auction for a very low price you will not be fined. And what if Manager A agree on a fee higher than the hostile clause and Manager B pick up the hostile, is that cheating or what? | 22/11/2013 23:41 |

If a manager did not resign his junior player and the players average is around 65 to 70 and the release clause is 4m, so i pay the release clause won't i be fined for paying that amount for such a good player, | 22/11/2013 23:42 |

I don't think so because it isn't a transfer agreement. Also, it is harder for the manager to cheat with low hostile clause because the system sets a minimum via what the player will sign for. You cannot hostile while the player is on auction, so that could not happen. Agreeing to pay more than the hostile clause via transfer agreement I suspect will only be considering cheating if the price is so far above the market rate that it appears that the buying manager is giving aid to the selling manager....i.e. "i'll help you out. I'll buy your age 18 avg 5 prog 40 CDF for $50m." That would be cheating. mr waz said: And what if Manager A agree on a fee higher than the hostile clause and Manager B pick up the hostile, is that cheating or what? |

I think you mean this... @rebsiot said: Rule 9 - ROUND TRIP Transfers 9) You are not allowed to help others to excess. Doing so may result in immediate expulsion from the game for both the person providing excess aid and the person receiving it. This includes, but is not limited to: "RoundTrip" or Cash-Loan transfers (Buy player, sell back soon afterwards as a means to loan cash/players) Clarification coming within next 48 hours.
