nice post,kinda of helpful though but not agreeing with the part that says " I also don't think the tactical quality in this PL is as good as Div 3. This is surely evident from looking at a rough correlation of how even similarly-rated squads are spread throughout C1 (given the very little cheating that has occurred in this group)." this is a zero effort pl,a lots if trick comes with effort change and most people just play pl for fun,more friend and money,so many play with b team. |

Fortuna, for example - good side, good manager, playing mostly a B side. Still, I stand by my point. I do not think the tactical (not talking of A squad, B squad) quality in C1 even is as good as I experienced in Div 3 last season. |

Yes, wetback has a very even squad - I wasn't singling him out negatively as such, I was saying that his playing a B side due to league commitments has meant he was not able to protect his crown this season. Tactically, I rate wetback as one of the best managers in this PL. My B team is 77avg, whereas my A team is 82. Not a huge difference, but big enough sometimes. I guess he would say the same for his squad. Not really sure what you're getting at, so I may have missed your point. |

I have not denied that. Many managers in this PL are doing wonderfully well in their league. I have said that I believe the tactical standard I faced in Div 3 is BETTER. Two different situations, here and there, only one of you which you have experienced. |

Hey Sicox Nice compliment, thank you. I have always decided to have 22 players in my senior team, with a complete A and a complete B team. My strategy has been to buy/train players to be in the A team, relegating the A team player to B and the B player to auction. This indeed makes in the long term a really balanced team. I started thinking like that when I had 3 A team players injured an the replacements were so bad I lost 4-5 games in a row. Indeed my only focus this year is staying in Div 3 which proved to be a bigger challenge than expected. But even if I demote it would have been worth it. Cash wise (4/5 M extra per game compared to Div 4) and experience wise it is worth it.
