There are probably a few more decimated teams like that, too. If I had a team like that I would wait until about 10mins before the deadline and then re-sign - get everyone scrambling! What would you do if you woke up and found your junior team like that? I would probably quit! |

Maybe a stupid explanation but this came to my mind as the first. If I don't sign my players other manager have them in their search results. And if they have mine, they miss someone else I have. Therefore lowering others chances (not significantly of course but still). People put them into a shortlist and may loose focus on other players which are in your focus. Re-signing in the last minutes block other managers (those having their players in a shortlist) from doing another search. Let's assume we will all agree on doing so. We would flood other searches. Or this is all a huge bullshit and they are just lazy. |
