Will players who have signed a 7 year contract this season be dropped to 4 year contracts once the new season starts?

This question relates to the updated changes, as the longest contract that can be re-signed is four.

Seeking some clarification.

So yes, as in when the new season starts their any player with a contract of 5 years or more at the end of this season will start with a contract of 4 years next season?

Or do we need to resign every player?

This is the update from @ranru:

"- 4 years contract will be the maximum of years you can offer to your players. "

Doesn't specifically state that all 7-year contracts will go down to 4. It says that 4 will be the most you can offer a player once the new season starts.

That's why I am seeking some clarification.

+4 year contracts will be reduced to 4. If you have a guy with 6 or 7 years now, he will have only 4 at the begining of the next season.

Thanks for the clarification. Wasn't too sure as it wasn't clearly explained, and wanted a correct answer.

I think if you have a player resigned for 6 years, next season he'll have 5 more years of contract.

But if you try to resign any player, max will be 4.

The email never says that the current long-contracts will be reduced so I don't know why you think that.
