Ok guys, last week I asked you to name the most reliable team in terms of accumulating fewest violations. This week I want you to name the team with the best win %. Please note, this is gross win %, so includes all TOC PL games played from S13 until yesterday, regardless of effort used, and also of PL group. Just the % ratio of wins to games played. Let's see what you think, you may be surprised at some of the teams in the top 10... Edited by sicox86 28-10-2014 00:53 |

Here we are, then, some promotion/relegation tables for you. C1 A1 A2 In C1, ROCKPOOL's lead extends to 5 points over the chasing pack, aided by a perfect weekend for olaniran, as well as by FC Kylle having their wings clipped by an overenthusiastic Bayen Munchen. The Kylles edge Nori, despite their 6-point weekend, by a single goal thanks to an empthatic win over a lacklustre Fandi Ahmad. Concilio continued to show why they cannot be trusted, turning their rage on Ali's Munchen. Concilio face FC Kylle in the next game. All this action at the top has meant that Plavi's rise has been almost unnoticed, but the PL's new dark horse canters up to 4th place and looks good for a cash finish. Last season's peoples' champion, Zatwor, have struggled this season, but still claim the last cash place despite an uninspiring weekend. While last season's runners-up, Bayern's, indescretion puts our favorite PL admin in real and unprecedented relegation danger, and with a very average points haul thus far, will really have to pick up in the 2nd half of the season. In mid-table sit Metropolitans, the highest up of C1's new boys, a much-improved Shaolin Corinthians side, the ever reliable Stallion FC, 3rd last season, and plucky Fandi Ahmad. Into the danger zone, HC VIPER had a good weekend, notching 4 points from 6, leapfrogging G&G who could only pick up a single point, their only point in the PL this month. Perennial relegation strugglers, Rangers FC are still looking for a win and, without an upturn in form, will once again be relying on their good violations record to see them last another season in the top group. Also, notice how hard each is team (ROCKPOOL excluded) is finding it to stop condeding goals at this level, a real indication of how tough C1 is. In A1, AC United's slip means the number of serious promotion contenders drops to 3. Unsurprisingly, Antarctica have been the strongest Adept unit this season, notching up a 90% win rate in a fair and commendable way. Chasing them are last season's nearly men, Lombok, who missed out on promotion to C1 by a single violation. Klopp's Crushers have suffered mixed fortunes, but still hang on despite last weekend's mauling at Lombok, and a shock stumble at Kelme a week later. Kelme produced some excellent performances over the weekend and deserve to be up among the top teams, and at 5 points behind promotion, may be worth a punt if you were a betting man. The cruel mistress of the PL rules means AC United and FINAL SOUND sit well down the table, behind Yoys and Manong, whose good violations record hides a pretty poor season for these two sides. Polonia Bytom are another side let down by a single slip, and would otherwise be up there, despite their poor record against A1's big sides. SICK BLUE and LiverKop will need to improve their attacks, and Anfield will need to regroup defensively to progress up the table. Finally, while The Cardiacs have woken up from their slumber, it is still Ground Control to Major Simply Organized Chaos - who knows where their leader is? Things are a little more simple in A2, despite group leader KBC Thistle and top team The Lions each requiring a violation to get their impressive points tally, practically ruling the Scottish and Singaporian outfits out of the race. Fortuna, as their name implies, are always quick to capitalize on such events and find themselves in a very strong position following some very strong defensive displays. DaaBrain and Brazucca fight it out for the final promotion place, while BLACKBERRY and Sheffield Sunday keep the top teams on their toes. MESSI FC sit in the Doldrums, drifting calmly towards a mid-table finish, and possibly feeling the challenge of fighting on 2 fronts. Kosova, Midnight Rockers and Chalmers all have some of the PL's best violations records, but once again find themselves struggling for traction in a tough crowd, but with some determined performances. Vitoria and Faroll seem to be having a tough time of things this season, while White Walkers are currently embroiled in a bitter promotion battle elsewhere, which has led to some poor defensive displays, but don't be fooled - once our friends from north of The Wall have things stabilized, we will surely see them rise up the standings! We wish all TOC teams the best of luck in their regular league results, as this is what the PL is aimed at improving. Best of luck next weekend, and fight with honor! OK, I was hoping for a couple more answer attempts, but thanks to those who ventured a guess. I can reveal the top 10 teams in terms of win rate. I have left in those with violations, but removed those who were ever disqualified (3+ violations), as some teams had over 10 violations, so we can have a more fair look at those who have mostly achieved wins fairly. Herein lie more problems, but anyway... 1st - FINAL SOUND - 90% after 10 games 2nd - Kaki Bangku FC - 76.9% after 26 games 3rd - The Lions - 75% after 36 games 4th Antarctica FC - 72.6% after 62 games 5th - Lombok Football Club - 72.2% after 36 games 6th - FC Kylle - 70.1% after 87 games 7th - AC United - 70% after 10 games 7th = DaaBrain FC - 70% after 10 games 9th - Metropolitans - 69.44% after 36 games 10th - Fandi Ahmad Rangers - 69.35% after 62 games So, there we have it. Congrats to all of those on the list. Of course, some has slightly easier times than others, and some just haven't been here that long, but those are the figures! Edited by sicox86 28-10-2014 18:41 |
