Managers should be able to change the name of a player completely with a little Golden Ball. The charge of the GB could be between 250-300 or as the dev deem fit. The name can be restricted to 3 max words and prohibition of use of foul words (though some have funny names already). I understand that manager with highest achievement point have this privilege, I think it is time the dev monitise this feature. If implemented, it can still be available for the achievement leader of the season. Some managers may argue that some names may not be peculiar to the origin of the player, I think we can take it that such player Naturalised (eg John Fashanu, Zinedine Zidane etc). This will not improve the sim engine of the game, but it should give the dev reason to keep the game afloat and probably work on the sim. Edited by elfolksy 08-03-2016 09:49 |

The idea is good. However, I think the suggested prize is a bit expensive for a player rename. No one would pay that much for that feature. However, a lot more users would rename players if the price was low. And all in all, more players, more income. Of course, I support the idea. Anything that can help the devs to keep this running... |

I suggest such price so it won't be use indiscriminately. But then like I said, as the dev deem fit, they can peg the use of GB at a reasonable prize. Or managers can suggest the amount of GB they think will be worth such feature. |

As for me I don't think I will name any of my players to such names, there are many excellent players that have grace the game of football that I so much respect than those two. When you get a chance to name a player Wale, did you name a Messi or Ronaldo? And other managers that have named a player, none of them named Messi or Ronaldo (at least I haven't seen). So I don't think naming of a particular player will be viral, as evident in those that have been named. Please do correct me pal. |

Find out the statistics and get back to us, I am sure there are new managers that have option of renaming with 5GB, let us know how many renamed to Messi or Ronaldo so far. |

I oppose this idea, i dont want to see a player from brazil bearing the name of a nigerian, or a player from germany bearing lionel messi, i think the current rename feature is better. it keeps the original name and the nickname together | 08/03/2016 13:50 |

Have you heard of John Fashanu (Nigeiran British), Zinedine Zidane(Algerian France), Francileudo Santos(Brazillian Tunisia), Mario Balotelli (Ghana Italian), Odonkor (Ghana German), Gabriel Agbolahor (Nigerian British), Deco(Brazilian Portuguese), and many more.
