If we insist on keeping the forum post achievement, maybe those that spam the forum should have double the amount removed from their total posts, starting with me for this post. |

I noticed the spam as well but in a different post @sabre warned the poster that continued spamming would result in a 72hr ban....so the @'s have a way of controlling the spammers. I am sure the dev's could remove the forum post achievement but that wouldn't necessarily reduce a spammer. The @'s being able to ban the poster is the real deterrent. |

In the past we have got developers to either fine managers their league points or take away their achievement points if a manager goes around spamming forums. As far as that manager is concerned he can take a time out from the game.  |

Thanks, it's good to know there is a defined course of action. I want an active forum as much as anyone, but when you go to D&Qs and see almost every thread locked for the first two pages it can't look good to a new manager or a more experienced manager who is being told that the game on this server won't die, but that's another point! |

Unfortunately some managers lack Common Sense it seems. It really makes no point to go back and dig up a 2 yr old post and then comment on it. Back then managers did not have the kind of FAQs and help like today and hence at times asked questions that seem silly now but back then they were valid questions. None of @s actually support closing down threads but at times it becomes a necessity to avoid a certain bunch of managers from derailing the topic under discussion or who refuse to read forums to check for answers to questions that have already been explained. Even today I see a few threads on Offsides and Nigerian Gb problem. I have personally stopped spoon feeding information on topics that have been discussed in depth in the past. |

Forum post achievement then,spamming... No need to talk much about this,the @s are up to the task,we cant teach the how to do their work. Also,the forum is free for all,it must be very active.  |
