For the first time in four attempt, i managed to beat Valdo86 we're still square though with a victory each and two draws. Seriously my heart jump at it highest speed when he scored in the 89th minutes but we bounced back like how Barca did against Sevilla  |

I prefer it to be (BECAUSE OF) the league improvements. Most of my PL matches are used to tryout new formation just 'cos the friendlies ain't enough. Buh, next season, when i believe to have gotten to the concluding end of my experiments, + a violation free run barring any unforeseen difficulties, then nothing will stop me from giving it my best shot. (C1 on my mind) Although the beta sim may have some peculiarities to the regular sim, 0 effort also has it's own issues. For example, the impact of subs doesn't have nearly the effect at 0 effort that it has at league effort(s). Also, 0 effort seems to have a higher injury rate than regular effort games. For me (and this also references previous comments about tactical advice), one of the things I was looking for was a PL with a solid group of consistent players who were willing to treat the PL as a testing ground for tactics and formations. Unfortunately, that isn't what has happened. Maybe it is because of the prize money, maybe it is because of the promotion/relegation, maybe it i the mix of managers, but whatever it is, the PL is less an exchange of ideas proving ground than it is a pure competition. Unless and until that changes, I'll treat the PL as an income generator and enjoy healthy competition among friends and treat friendlies against stronger opponents as my tactical playground. |
