He couldn't make any impact despect early sub. in second half, the guy is useless player like R. Steerling. One is playing so far within himself it's painful to watch, the other is being marked out of the game - big difference! Honestly, I was so impressed by the signing of Super Mario at the start of the season. Say what you want about him now (and people are!) he plays as a starter for Italy, and did OK for Man City before impressing at Milan, playing a much more mature game, and is still only 24 years old, and then Liverpool sign him for something like 16m. I thought it was a great deal, you should't get players with those credentials for so little money! Perhaps it's the EPL, or the pressure, but something is not working. I still think there's a great striker lurking in there somewhere, but perhaps time is running out for him in England. Sterling is, I think, probably one of the biggest talents in the game, and like another pint-sized massively talented player, he is being marked out the game. It's a bit like me playing an extra RDF if I see my opponent has a good LF. If Liverpool can somehow get the best out of these players (and, I believe stick with Rogers), and get Sturridge back, I think we'll see them creep up the table towards the Europa League places by May. As for any Manchester United fan dribbling after today's game - I saw a nice quote I'd like you to keep in mind. "There's an element of World Cup Brazil about United in that, they're doing enough, but wrong team on wrong day could see them ripped apart." Food for thought? |

You have a nice views of Mario. It was everybody get dissappointed by his lack of goals, sharp in fronts of defenders like E. F. Torres last season in chelsea shirt. |

Mario is killing himself with his wayward long range shots. He just lack that creativity and telepathy the 'SAS' used last season. Instead of passing to team mate in space, he will just decide to blaze it from long range. I know Liverpool will bounce back once Daniel is fit and secondly the need quality defenders not the ones that commit so much error at the back. Raheem?? He is arguably Liverpool's best player this season. Rodgers is even overplaying the kid he need rest! |

As far as I know, he's only really missing Sturrige up front, right? I may be wrong. But he has been overplaying Sterling (dangerous, at his age), and overplaying Lambert (dangerous, at his age). From what I can see, Liverpool have 2 EPL goals from their listed strikers (not Sterling). The other guys are useless, which is perhaps why he is relying on Mario, Lambert and Sterling, but that reliance is becoming less and less effective with each game as they tire. Maybe it would be good to have a look in January for another good fast winger to compliment Sterling (and mean he can't have 3 people marking him) to put the ball in the air for Mario where he is a beast. It's a bit ugly, but it may be more effective than what they currently have - I'm not even sure there's a word for what they currently have. Sterling also got some flack for asking for a rest, but if his knee gives up in March and he loses the rest of the year injured, and a few yards of pace in the deal, he won't get it all back again. |

No, cause no strikers at all :-/ Liverpool players are good sprinsters. Even USIAN BOLT will struggle against them. Sterling may be the speediest player in all of football but without a striker to work with...no wins and what do we call it when the chances came calling for him? De Gea was the one btw the sticks anyway. Edited by T. Mayor 14-12-2014 22:07 |

Rodgers is even overplaying the kid he need rest! they are at the moment an error-packed team; from the GK, to the DEFs(Kolo Toure, Lovren) & something is simply not right in that midfield 'cos of something that isn't right in the attack... And, Rodgers is somehow turning himself to Arsene Wenger in terms of TEAM SELECTION. |

He's truly missing Daniel. And the signings, i think he needs more than one. Atleast 4 will be ok two CB and Captain Fantastic replacement before that extra winger. |

David de Gea. I once read of reports where United needed Gareth Bale, and Real Madrid asked for de Gea's inclusion in the transfer deal. It has since died down. Watching David's romance with United's goal made me --- green! He has grown, and is maturing way too fast - healthily, of course. The question of whether or not he could fill the shoes of van der Sar has long been forgotten. United should not let him leave. |

Mario is an open Way-ward living person, but he isn't the only one CR7 barely spends a night without a Lady, who's worse? Whats that hard being an Out and Out striker? Just 1 or 2 epl goals doesn't impress me either. Ali, De Gea is going nowhere ^_^ |
