@Rand said: nowen said: I just want to ask one thing. In real world, if the contract of the player ends, he is free to go any team at no cost other than salary which wud be offered to him. So, if these players are without team in market, so who is getting the money from their auction..?? ADMIN..?? Now, thats a gud way devised by admin to earn more for their teams. Admin guys, your job is to make game more realistic and by auctioning teamless players in market you are driving the game away from that. Secondly if you can see, these 287 managers are the ones who are making this game fun for Striker Manager by remaining active. you have taken this decision for those 18000 who are ready to leave at any time. Thats how you pay back to these loyal 287 managers. We have spent money to get high rating point coaching secretary and he is doing his job well by bringing in unsigned good players for the team. Ask those 18000 of yours to pay more for their coaching secretary. In the end, I just want to reiterate my first point, in real world, players whose contract gets finished and not renewed by their team are free to go to any team. You can not put a price on them. That was not bug, that was the right thing. In the real world, messi will never be sold by 0€. But, even if it were, this is not the real world. This is a football game, and we have to work so the game is fair for everyone. Getting a whole new squad at 0€ is not something we like to see, it really takes very little skill to do that. This is a long term game, that should benefit the best manager, not the lucky one who was in the good moment at the correct spot, so he could get the best team in the game for free. If we do nothing, we'll be jeopardizing the fun of the game. There would be a few guys, that will be the best teams in the game, for at least 5 or 6 years. DO you really want this? 1 day effort and you are the best of the game for 6 years? definitely not. I understand your position, of course i do, but i have to watch over the future of this game, and it's obvious that the best team of the game cannot be done in 1 day. It's a process of months and months, not 1 day. Edited by @Rand 20-06-2011 18:08 i would suggest you to read wat u have written once again because: - Cesc Fabregas when joined Arsenal, they hired him for no cost and now he is the captain of this great team. Barcelona is trying their hands on to get him. - Your game is much of a business game than a football game, and in business being at the right spot at the right time is called "OPPORTUNITY" which we (ACTIVE MANAGERS) capitalized upon. - Few guys with best teams in the game..!! Think about Barca's supremacy for past 5 years. I hope you are not playing by COMMUNIST ideology over here according to which the governing administration will try to disintegrate the big players. - I had not made best team in these 2 days by buying some of your few free players. My team average only increased by 1 point after buying those players which has now decreased by 4 points by your move. In the end I would just urge you to let their be free market, if you would ever read the rule of economics imposing sanctions has never helped the market in long run (if you are thinking about LONG RUN) |

@brezzette. Right now doing or agreeing with anything is putting the cart before the horse, and there is a whole team of horses behind the cart right now. First is undoing the remedy. As it stands, everyone who took a free agent at $0 in the last few days is a cheater (you included), in violation of rule #2, and they have been penalized for it. We have fired a lot of *very good* players, spent hours retooling because of the situation, and increased expenses through payroll. After all of the hard work, you have a team that was worse than it was a week ago, you are poorer for it, and are a cheater to boot. The expense won't go away either. You are saddled with the higher salary until you can pay for a replacement player...which is more difficult to afford. Imagine being told you are doing great at work, and then provided with an incredible opportunity, but you have to act now. So you do, you take the job, relocate, say goodbye to all of your friends, and move to a city that costs more money. A week after the move, your boss comes in with auditors and says "He embezzled $100,000" and demotes you. When the reality is that your boss misplaced the money. Now you have a crap job, make less money, have more expenses, and everyone at work thinks you are a crook. All of that needs to be fixed before anything else is done. |

in the previous season the players were free and if you were lucky yo get a guy on a low price because everyone was bidding!... in my opinion which i hope im entitled to is that the admin seems to enjoy imposing extreme penalties... there needs to be a democratic ruling on penalties because at this rate many people will leave the game because of unfair treatment because of what the admin believes is correct punishment, which i see as more jealousy and stupidity because of a lack of integrity for the people playing their game. admin should establish a format by which penalties can be made and not on the administrators or committees choice |

i can hardly believe they do not have any recent backup of the data (what else are they gonna do when a disk fails? Just deleting players?). If they do however have a backup from the end of the season, maybe it would be good to rewind time by 3 days.. I remember strikermanager was down a few hours to perform maintenance or whatever. Does that look like a solution, admins?? |

@Sean, I completely agree. I myself am debating quitting because I've been set back so hard by this punishment. Good job admins for basically getting your best players to debate quitting by being idiots... well done. well done. | 20/06/2011 20:41 |

Does that look like a solution, admins?? That's the only possible solution. The whole thing is messed up. If we do not go back to the end of the season scenario it is not going to be fair to all the players. There can be no piecemeal solution to this problem I suppose. |

Brezzette, we agree with each other.... I just am saying do things in order.... Until they back out the current "fix" which was way too severe, by a long shot, they can't begin to explore something else. They have a basic credibility problem that needs to be fixed before they can start working on the game balance thing. |
