Got lucky with my tactics since they were set up for the other team. Started to catch up with production in my store. If I can keep it stocked, I stand to make just over 1m per day. the difference between struggling to stay up & mid-table security is so fine. a bit of luck or a goal in injury time is all it takes. i'm more than happy to try and help if anyone having trouble wants help with formations etc. |

But Torres didn't dive, and shouldn't have been booked. Ref made a terrible error. The OTT hype about diving got to him, and he went in the other direction. But there is too much pressure on a ref to deal with it. The game is too fast for a single person to manage so much. And offsides are not 100% accurate with the human eye. FIFA needs to act. Get each association to setup a committee of ex-refs, ex-players, and ex-managers. They sit after each weekend of football, and hand out punishments and suspensions for players that dive, cheat or commits fouls that require further actions. It wouldn't take long for the game to clean up. But, as per usual, this only really effects the fans. Player, managers, refs, those with the power to make change (FIFA, UEFA, FA,.........) get their money anyway. The fans lose money and their cool. |

It will end but not overnight. From the way some players fall, you'd know they had trained so much for it. 'Untraining' may not be that easy ![]() |

Couldnt agree more Kopp. Its amazing that goal line technology is still not in place. Yes, I understand that some poor leagues couldnt afford this but thats when FIFAs money should kick in. Hell even make the big leagues (a.k.a. EPL, La liga, etc...) pay for this with their billions. Here in the states we have instant replay to help the refs with the NFL calls (which still doesnt help all the time) but with the speed of the game...(see Kopps points). I realize this wouldnt work in english football, but maybe some form could. Some of those smart science, techy people working on cures for cancer could come up with some sort of system with sensors in the ball and on each player to solve the offside dilemma. Then they could make tons of money in turn to go back and help find a cure for real problems like cancer. Just sayin. |
